But it's still garbage?
OFFICIALLY BANNED FROM PU
>>32656745
Swellow's wrecking shit in RU and UU, that's miles better than being barely viable in NU which happened in the last 2 gens
>>32656730
Do the good megas count?
>>32656763
Yeah
good alternate forms count as well
>tfw shitfernapefags made fun of blaziken in dppt meta
>next gen
>it steals the poor monkey's thunder for eternity
>becomes the first of only two starters to get sent to ubers
whew
>>32656798
Doesn't getting sent from UU to Ubers mean it wasn't buffed well/was buffed too much?
Anyway, this guy got Water Absorb in Gen 3, Recover in HGSS, and Scald+Unaware in Gen 5. Quagsire's been doing fine ever since, regardless of tier placement. If anything, it works to Quagsire's favor since you can use it in more than just OU.
Huge power, Ice Punch, Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Belly Drum, Waterfall
>>32659105
Plus fucking Fairy type and Play Rough.

>it wasn't buffed well/was buffed too much?
Have you forgotten Smogon isn't the only place to do competitive? It made it one of the few starters worth a damn in any serious team.
>>32659558
3 Comments prior to mine bring up Smogon tiers and it's kinda vague where we say something was buffed too much. I don't have much to go on here as a result.
Furthermore, what about the other 5 starters with megas, Greninja, Infernape, and Serperior? If we're chucking tiers out the window, I don't see why they're not worth a damn in a serious team, especially if the distinction between singles and doubles is made. I'd say that's more than just a few.

>>gets arguably the best move in the game
Dunsparce or Swellow?
>>32660979
I don't care how you feel about Zygarde itself, Thousand Arrows is so good it's stupid. Only way it could be better is if it actually hit Skarmory and the like for Super-Effective damage before it knocked them out of the sky.
>+20 speed and +20 sp attack
>still shit
I want masquerain to be OU so bad.
>>32656762
nobody cares about those tiers lol
>>32661160
I still think they are just giving new forms to the pokemon they buffed this gen
Like pidgeot and beedrill got buffs in xy
>>32660979
>high ground-type move
>hits flying/levitates for neutral and then ground them, potentially hitting for SE next turn
>handed to a bulk and strong enough Ground-type that can boost itself
I'm not sure what you're implying here.
>>32661160
It should've stayed a Water type. Amazing coverage but mediocre STAB combo
>>32661457
Bug/Water Masquerain would be pure kino.
>>32661947
More than you think. Becomes pretty solid in all regards and could probably scrape UU with its movepool.
>Arguably best sticky web setter in game.
>Good defensive typing makes intimidate relevant, comparable bulk to golisopod.
>Hits decently hard with scald.
>Bug/Water/Ice quiver dance coverage is decent, with grass as an option too.
>Has recovery and u turn.
>Has defog. But its weak to rock so don't count on this being great.
>Has a lot of other less good but still relevant things like whirlwind, stun spore, aqua jetshadow sneak mega gardevoir was a thing, haze and lunge.
>physical/special split was beneficial
>dragon dance
>sheer force
Too bad it's still a discount Gyarados.
>>32656745
It's predictable because Specs is pretty much the only item worth running, but you're basically guaranteed to get at least 1 Boomburst off since it has 125 base speed and Scrappy.
>>32656755
BL3 has got to be the worst possible fate for a mon
>>32661160
guzma's kicked my ass if it's any consolation. I remember the smug look on my face as I switched in marowak. all those air slash flinches...
>>32656798
>Needs a busted ability to be good.
lol.
Anyway, good riddance to it's trip to ubers. The less I have to see of this ugly cock, the better.
>>32664299
>broken ability
>every other speed booster is decent at best
>>32661172
>nobody cares
I mean
you might not
Come on, man; is everything OU or bust to you?
