Alright, best advice i can give is make the evolutions are based on birds that are unable to fly like chickens, quails, etc, but taking a look at the design, i think a cassowary evolution would be a pretty good direction.
try to keep the details simple as well, such as the lines on the legs and feet, but overall not to bad, and you've definitely are improving.

heres one of mine, a rock/ghost type.
it wanders through fossil quarries to try and complete its skeleton,only moving on when its complete,leaving a fully formed dinosaur skeleton behind.

These mons are based off coarse surfaces, rust, spikes, files and metals. I'm not really sure about the final's theme, but it's meant to be some sort a pangolin with hot, compressed armour/body.
