I'm at the part of the game where I hardly get Diamonds and most of the decorations and pokemon start feeling minute that I don't care about buying them and I would rather invest in Snorlax, because the JP I would get from food is better than any JP Pikachu or Litten would ever give (and Pikachu and Litten cap out with candy whereas it is extremely hard to cap on food).

Litten is a shit pokemon alongside Poplio. Do not shill that bitch pokemon. Shill Rowlet. Because Money is always relevant for buying upgrades. Also, If you go the pump into food route, Aegislash is also very very trash. Also, don't even get a Parasect too. The best food for me right now gives nearly 200k which is better than any event, and more consistent than hoping for the best training to appear.

Depends on how far you are in the game and how much you care about min/maxing.

I was rank 28 with just buying all berries, then restarted yesterday to do 2 berries and I'm already back to rank 25 within a day. Progress starts slower than buying all berries, but after a few leagues it starts to pick up and you'll be gaining JP really fast.

But, it's not a very long game so even if you don't restart it won't take you long to get to the end anyway.

Level 50 Oran gives base 2.55k JP without any bonus and spawns every 4 seconds if you keep collecting when they spawn.

It's only like that early game. 2k gold at level 50 oran berry versus 1k gold at Bluk Berry 30 right now.

Bluk berry gives 13k JP versus 4k JP on Oran berry. You can try to argue that I should have merged all that gold back into Sitrus Oran, but the gold ratio is very bad for Oran and Sitrus at this point. It averages out better for new berries pretty fast after you get Oran Sitrus to 40's.

Lowest Berry is Wacan berry at rank 44 2.64k JP and Leppa berry at rank 36 2.77k JP.

Oran Sitrus Pecha and Rindo are just at 50 minimum. Oran and Sitrus are 52 and 51 respectively to keep them relatively the same.

Bluk Berry is at rank 27 12.3k JP and Lava Cookie at rank 26 22.3k JP

They are all pretty evenly spaced the way I like it. My next goal is to get Wacan to 50 while I get Rawst and Leppa a few ranks up since they are more gold efficient.

I did push Sand Bag to rank 50, and I have every other training to at least 25, for support candies and because they all give respectable JP. Pokeball smash is 350k, which is amazing, but since Training occurs less and you're stuck with jump counter or something, it's best to just leave most of them around the same rank and have a few very skewed high.

That's the idea, Popplio requires SS Anne to increase the money to a respectable level. It sounds like end game money though. I would get this after Snorlax.

Charizard>Shaymin>Slowpoke>Snorlax

What I will get:
Rowlet or Poplio+Anne


The idea is that delaying slowpoke about 2-3 recharge cycles on Charizard wouldn't be devastating so Shaymin goes first. Food is always relevant and hopefully Charizard gives you at least the purse of coins so food upgrades are good and Shaymin can help you out. Eventually, you'll just earn money consistently so Shaymin becomes exceedingly amazing and well worth it.

Snorlax pops out more food and future money makers will help increase the worth of Snorlax and Shaymin.

According to Serebii, you can get either by losing in the league (in the Slowpoke one's case, losing and then training), but they never show up. Anything else I'm missing in regards to getting them? I also need the Dratini event, but I'm sure I'll get that in due time while completing Expert Leagues 2 and 3.

I'm rank 41 and have some observations.

>Saving gold balls from previous fish MAY increase chance of a shiny Karp
>Doing training in favour of eating MAY increase chance of skelly Karp (tried levelling up normal Karp with training exclusively)

Had my first shiny at Rank 29 and first skelly at Rank 41 and the above was all I did differently.

Could just be coincidence but I figured I'd put it out there.
