How long did it take you guys to accept that your bro is a shitmon?
>>32639794
>tfw I had to accept it twice
As a kid I thought it was so strong
Both of those mons are good suporters in doubles.
>tfw close to 100% usage in OU
>>32639798
>believing in the Ashnime
>>32639794
About 6 gens
>>32639794
You know what's worse it's not bad but outclassed but too powerful for lower tiers so it's just there
But jumpluff isn't a shitmon
>muh competitive
Oh yeah, i forgot meta shitters lurk this places.
>>32639794
I've known for a long time since it gets worse every gen but the fact that even shitty STAB like Dragon Pulse is denied to it in gen 7 really drove the point home. Look out Audino, you've got some steep competition for worst Mega.
>>32642035
How do you define "shitmon" if you don't believe in usability, anon?
>>32639794
My biggest bromons are Gengar and Cloyster.
Gengar has always been good and I'm in denial about Cloyster because it's somewhat relevant in Ubers as a hazard lead and I keep telling myself that makes it a good mon.
>>32642084
In Gen 2, Cloyster is the second most used Pokémon, after Snorlax. It's partially a result of roles, since the second and third best (Zapdos and Raikou) usually compete for the same slot, while Cloyster is the Spikes user that is the least useless offensively.
My bro is pic related and yes I have accepted he's shit, but he's came through for me many times
>>32639831
my favorite meme
Never, because my bro is pretty good
>>32642062
honestly people like you are worse than staraptorfags, steelix, banette, hell, even blastoise this gen are all worse than scept
I knew tropius was a shitmon about halfway through emerald, but that hasn't stopped me from using shitty subseed sets to this day. Was a great HM slave till gen 7 abolished slavery, too
>>32642376
>implying anything is worse than a bananafag
>>32642062
>STAB like Dragon Pulse is denied to it in gen 7
Just transfer a Sceptile from OR/AS with Dragon Pulse from the Move Tutor? What's the problem?
>>32639798
At least it got a mega
>>32639794
>my bro
>a shitmon
Nah I actually have taste
>>32639798
I always use it in Kanto and Johto.
Why is Pidgeot a shit mon? It's good for me at least in game.
>>32639794
accepting that 90% of the national dex is literally useless garbage is the ultimate redpill
why do you think so many of us don't even play the games anymore and just shitpost or jack off to animals instead
When Stallrein died.
RIP, we had our fun.
>>32639794
It didn't take long.I knew there were better electric types as soon as i played FRLG.At least it's not as bad as the yellow rat.
>>32644138
Its stats are low and badly distributed. It evolves at lvl 36 when most pokémon with similar power level evolve before lvl 30.Its movepool sucks and can't be fixed with TMs.Its type is bland and common, making it compete with the much better Dodrio and Fearow for a slot on the team.Spearow(gen 1 and 3) and Zubat(gen 2 and 4) exist.
I thought it was doomed to rot in UU/RU when ORAS didn't give it a Mega.
Then Z-Conversion came along.
>>32639794
Never had to.
>S-rank OU for three consecutive generations
>still very relevant in SM OU
>ridiculously powerful in lore
>still the best Rock-type in the history of the game
Only gripe is how badly it jobbed in the Kalos league final.
>>32639798
I know it's a shitmon but I use it anyway. Even done decently at tournaments with itin the TCG
>>32639794
What constitutes a shitmon?
Competitivefags need not apply.
>>32645652
My nigger. Fell in love with it since I saw it for the first time in crystal's battle tower.
>>32639794
I stopped caring anymore, I care only about his fanarts
>>32639794
Slowbro and Quaggy have never disappointed me, they are as reliable as they can be since gen 5.
Gen 2 and 3 where very rocky for them as bulky water, but gen4 started a steady set of buffs for both, trick room and trick specs slowbro where amazing back in the day.
>>32645677
"What constitutes an unviable pokemon? Competitivefags need not apply."
that's what you sound like
>>32639794
I was still a kid when I picked my "bro," back then I couldn't care less about stats, etc. since the games were agonizingly easy.
>>32639794
Jumpluff may be a shitmon in competitive but it'll always be S-tier in the Gamecube games for sleeping all of those Shadow Pokemon
>>32639798
>Pidgeot
>has many good physical attacks like Brave Bird, Quick Attack, Steel Wing and U-turn
>gets mega
>gets higher special attack
>only has Hurricane, Heat Wave and Hidden Power
Fucking GF
Floatzel is NOT a shitmon
>>32639794
Never, my bro has been consistently good over the years and only got better with a mega
Not great but it isn't completely irredeemable at least.
It'll get a mega evolution someday. . .
SOME DAY
Jumps from tier to tier constantly, Unaware is nice.
Great speed, just not enough attack to be competitively viable.
Still love it though.
Toxicroak was a champ back in gen v due to weather wars. Most rain teams, including mine, ran SubPunch and it worked out beautifully.
>>32646305
Quaggy Bizarre Tiering Adventure Unaware is Unbreakable.
>>32642062
Same. Not my favorite pokemon but my favorite starter. Had to eventually replace him with a reuniclus in gen 5 I think. Unburden was fun while it lasted.
Dusclops is good right? Maybe not so much anymore but eviolite gen 5 Could take any hit it wanted and burn and turn. Love duskull and my other faves are Tyranitar and Gengar so no problems there. Marowak? At least he can hit like a truck and his new form was good
>>32640197
Jolteon was nice during the weather meta
Hope you like charge spark and crunch as your moveset for about 30 levels.
>>32639794
He was pretty viable in gen 4 and 5 countering garchomp.
>>32645870
>sleep powder
>sleep powder
>leech seed
>leech seed
so gud
>>32646426
Gotta use sleep powder and leech seed twice in a row because you missed the first one. Grass type is suffering.
>>32642106
He's also qt ngl
>>32646450
Nah this is doubles
