EToP has my favorite Pokemon designs. They look like wild animals, just without the standard crazy unnatural detail most "realistic" artists give them.

Seeing Meowth salvage treasure in the sunken ruins of a destroyed city with a mech was pretty neat. And Black Fog is best Haunter.

EToP is criminally underrated, probably my favorite "early" Pokemon manga. Shame it never continued past the Orange Islands, but I guess it's better that way since it got closure for what it was.
