If you trigger it, your next karp will just be the same level as it or one lower meaning you get no progress for one or two gens. If you is it to beat a league, you don't get to grind that league for exp anymore. Its terrible.

Is snorlax worth it? I want another support pokemon before Slowpoke to feel like I'm really getting use out of slowpoke, but I might just get charizard. I'm rank 28 and I've had all my food up to Wacan berries lv.25 and I'm working on Leppa right now (r17).

I'd really like to see variations of more Pokemon showing up eventually, in spin-offs, mobile games like this one, or mainline games. Spiky-Ear Pichu is the closest we ever got in the main games(aside from shinies of course), but it'd be cool to see more stuff like that show up.

This entire mindset is flawed. The point of diamonds is that you spend them to advance your game, getting coins or JP or items. You're spending diamonds to just have less diamonds. Popplio doesn't do anything aside from slowly earn back what you spent. If what you want are diamonds, it's much much better to just not buy Popplio and have more for not spending.

That's not how it works. Every league battle has a set JP down to all the digits, you just only see the first three. As a result, when it looks like a tie, you won't know if you're going to win or lose. However since when you exactly reach a level (as in, hit max level) every user karp will have the exact same JP in all digits. As such when you face the league it is not random if you win or lose (save for your support bonus), and if you win once everyone will win every time, whereas if you lose once, everyone will lose every time.
