Gonna post a few rough designs I made (they're all still a work in process besides pic related).

Pic related is Punchinbug, the middle, 'coccoon' stage of one of my regions early bug lines. Not sure if it should be Bug or Bug/Fighting at this stage (evo will be Bug/Fighting).

It conceals itself in a thick coccoon and hangs on to tree branches with its tail. It's body is toughened and prepared for evolution by enduring blows from training Pokemon.

It's first stage is an ant larvae shaped like a dumbbell (having difficulty with the design), and it's evo will be an ant which I honestly have no good ideas for. I wanna continue the trend of gym equipment and bodybuilding.

Thoughts? Any criticism is appreciated.

Pic related is my second early bug line, this time Bug/Ghost. None of these designs are close to finished, and any advice is appreciated.

Egglobin is based on mosquito eggs, blood cells, and a coffin.
Pupire is the one I am absolutely not done or happy with. It's meant to be a mosquito pupa with a skull motif. The pupa 'tail' is meant to kinda resemble a spinal cord.
Nosquito (previously named Mosqeratu) is based on a mosquito, vampire, and has a syringe motif. It also retains the skeleton look from Pupire (ribcage-like markings on upper body) and the egg/blood cell look from Egglobin (lower abdomen). It looks pretty random and mismatched as it is so I'might not TOO happy with it.

I think of these three I like Egglobin the most. Again, R8 and H8 plus.
