Your figma/ArtFX/D-Arts/Nendo shit mean nothing, those aren't POKEMON TOYS. they're FOTM "which popular character should we do next" trash. Usually god awful anime shit nobody cares about. Unreliable and just because 1 or 2 pokemon characters debuted in their lines does not make for a reliable toy line. Can I expect to see Giovanni as a next figma? Howabout Lenora? Burgh? Morty?

I want a dedicated line of pokemon figures I can look forawrd to without 1. paying ludicrous $100 prices for, and B. Know what I'm expecting in the next line up, yknow, Wave 1, Wave 2? That sort of thing. Not this.

So you basically want cheap kids action figures? Takara Tomy offers Ash and Serena figures in the Monster Collection line, there's probably some more but you'll have to look around a bit. S.H Figuarts offers gen 1 Ash, Jesse and James but they're a bit more expensive.
Honestly though, the people who actually care about the trainers are likely the older fans, meaning they have more money and are able to afford the more expensive figures from companies like Good Smile. Kids mostly care about the Pokemon and not the human characters.
You'll probably have better luck asking around on /toy/ than on here.
