I feel that the E4+Champion are not hard enough. Only fight I had some trouble with was Bendova, and the others were easy, especially compared to Danny DeVito.
The others had easy teams with very exploitable weaknesses, except the Farfignutletron.
Increasing their levels wouldn't do much, only forcing players to use set-up sweepers like Shell Smash Mabster or Dragon Dance Mantrake.
Some suggestions:
Bendova: replace Ricosuave/Huntabre with Sesquatch, more weather synergy.
Ginosaji: Phantash isn't much of a threat, Sesquatch of Dowster could replace it.
Tyrone: Replace Monstrap (very shitty) and Isissin with Lizakbar and Ebolable.
Saxton Hale: No idea.
Yo Momma: I'm not sure, her whole team felt balanced, but maybe the mons were just not powerful enough. Mennopaws, Premantom, Gynuke, Hornititan and Slugfugg are options that fit in thematically.
Illumatrix, Cannonance, Potarded, Futagon, Fireshitre and Warudio and some more powerful options that don't fit in thematically.

I've just started playing and am running into what seems to be an audio issue, I'm using Higan to emulate on Manjaro Linux. Occasionally the music will get much louder and distorted, such as during the opening menu when Clovenix cries, as well as occasional loud horn parts. This could also just be you guys trolling and making obnoxious music, I'm not sure which, it could also be my system's fault, I will try to test on a different machine and emulator to see if I get the same results.

On the first Pokémon centers Region map after being thrown off a boat the game went black upon clicking on said map

Try messing with your audio settings. A sign early on mentions what bitrate it should be set to, and you might have it set to that, but sometimes changing it to a different number and back can smooth things out. That said, I don't know a whole lot about Higan. I do know that mGBA and VBA-M both handle the audio fine (with maybe a tweak when they first open, in my experience), and they should run on your system. I don't know what Manjaro's default package manager is, though, so I don't know whether there'd be any precompiled versions of those to try.
I do know some of the horns are supposed to be a bit obnoxious, but they shouldn't be distorted.

Their power is pretty good, in my opinion. The main problem is selection of mons, and the fact that a SE hit will most likely OHKO any mon. I'm not sure how it would work out, but swapping a mon or two in each team, changing movesets to include mixed/status moves (also no retarded shit like special Uwotto or Toke Marleyzard.) and most importantly, make the EVs something other than 252Att/SpA, 252 Spe. Real Pokémon have some bulk, too.

Toke sweeper is the worst possible set.
Marleyzard is damn slow. Even after Toke boost, pretty much everything with a bit of speed and its mother will outspeed it. Thanks to intelligent devs, it has full sweeper EV spread, and the bulk is pretty low. It has to setup one turn, and you can still outspeed it even after the boost, so you get free tow moves against it. SE moves can easily beat it, status moves can cripple it,
Also Champion's Marleyzard has Fire, Grass and Water offensive moves, not really the ideal coverage.
Marleyzard is hyped to be several times better than it really is. It's not bad, but definitely not Champion tier. It's also Snoop's signature mon. And if you really must have Marleyzard in the Champion's team, make use of the bulk.
Something like Giga Drain/Leech Seed/Substitute/Spore or Toxic or Will-O-Wisp w/Leftovers and defensive EVS or Giga Drain/Flamethrower/Sludge Bomb/Will-O-Wisp or Spore w/Leftovers and HP/SpA EVs

Except they do. If you are underleveled, any neutral from a beast like a full attack EV Farfignugletorn will OHKO, regardless of your stats. Only way to beat the League when underleveled (which Anon isn't) is to use fast, frail setup sweepers

I killed the spilefree in the tower which was in hindsight a pretty dumb move after mercurys gym I might EV train nomaestro after I figure out where the EV berries are so I can actually use this 4 IV nomaestro (15/31/31/31/31/4) in the order the smogoon said Also kuklux is a placeholder mon untill I find something else that can learn will o wisp later on so I can inflict burns and cripple powerful opponents later on.

basically it checks for excessive amounts of rare candies/master balls/certain unobtainable pokemon. after tallying everything up it calls you out depending on what it found. after clearing the game once it skips the check entirely

it's pretty well-written and i think its hilarious that the player gets arrested for their crimes but i don't think that telling the player to just grind it off is good. especially with DOG

i've looked at the check and it's weird

the game doesn't check your bag for candy (like it does with master balls; you can unflag your file by removing them from your bag), it just checks some variable (x42A0) to see if it's greater than or equal to 30 and if so, sets a flag that makes the cop berate you for having candy

the cop has different lines for every permutation of cheating via rare candy, via master balls, and/or via having dex flags for legendaries you're not supposed to, by the way

presumably there's a hook on the rare candy code that increments that every time one is used, so your file is considered "dirty" by the game once you use your 30th rare candy, regardless of how much is in the bag.
