It's not as easy to deal with as it sounds. Before there was the Baton Pass Clause, you would pretty much get an automatic lose in Gen 5 and early Gen 6 when you had to fight full baton pass teams. Speed Boost+Espeon+Taunter made hard to deal with, even with the right sets. After the first Clause, it was still powerful, but not as much. What made it broken was the speedpede who forced non-stall teams to run Quag, Clef, or Toxapex.

Here's how it went, I was using my Rotom-Wash at the time and he switched in his Decidueye. I volt switched the fuck out and brought in Volcarona... he just straight up refused to switch. He tried to sucker punch Volcarona on the first two turns while I set up two dances. He got the third sucker punch off, but I one shot the Decidueye with fire blast, then his Toxapex with Shattered Psyche, then just proceeded to turn his team to dust due to me taking out the big threat to my bug.
