My favorite teams are the ones that don't have any disguised ulterior motives or a "grand scheme using [insert box legend] to rule the region/world/universe" kind of plot.

Team Rocket just wants money and power, they're as straightforward as it gets, and yet iconic. Team Skull just wants to fuck trials and island traditions because they're angsty teens. They have simple, greedy motivations and that's what I like about them.

Second place goes to Teams Magma, Aqua and Flare. I see what they're trying to do but their plans to reach their respective goals are beyond retarded and flawed in many ways that I could believe Archie overlooking, but not Maxie or Lysandre that are supposed to be serious scientists.
