Blue and Crystal Kaizo

Currently running through Glazed and it ain't half bad. The early game is a nightmare though it has such terrible level scaling.

I've heard good things about Blazed Glazed though in terms of fixing this, yet to try it myself though.

I waited to play Prism for a dry season like we're in now. Having a blast with it. Just enough nostalgia, but with updated gimmicks up to gen6 which aren't retarded.

Really enjoying it, and hoping Gamefreak takes some pointers from it.

Theta emerald EX. Has everything up to Gen 6, and managed to incorporate the new cry sounds in Gen 6 and the cries of the new Pokemon themselves. Essentially, it's ORAS but with the BF.

Speaking of, are there other ROMhacks out there that managed to incorporate the cries of new Pokemon. Hate to sound picky but that's usually a deciding factor when I play a ROM, because I can't handle the immersion breaking when say, Popplio has Spheal's cry and Litten has Meowth's.

I don't care much about Pokemon cries desu. But if you liked Theta Emerald EX you might as well enjoy Nameless FireRed.

So far those two are the most completed hacks I've played without new fanmade regions and stuff.

I would also recommend Polished Crystal for GBC.

Blazed is good too, I just never cared enough to finish it once I reached Johto. I don't even know if it's good after that.

I heard there was an Emerald hack with megas implemented, anybody know what it is?

That's the point of Kaizo games. They're stupidly difficult and unfair to the point you have to fight Red who has level 127 mons, some of which are legendaries

Anything by Drayano is good. And a good starting point for people new to romhacks.

I like some parts of Drayano's hacks but I do not like how crowded his encounter lists are
I don't need all available pokemon in a game, and in my opinion that breaks any design the game might have had when you can choose freely which pokemon you want to use
