Wigglytuff was surprisingly good last gen. Haven't tried it this gen, but Assault Vest, Competitive Wiggly was surprisingly bulky, and could hit common Intimidate-users for a guaranteed 2HKO pretty much every time.

Even if not playing by simulator rules that still doesn't make Wigglytuff good in the slightest. Its outclassed, its frail and has to rely on the stupidity of the opponent and lots of prediction to have even a somewhat threatening offense.

I'm not calling it the greatest Pokemon ever, but with the right teammates and a little prediction, it can absolutely pull its weight.
