does anyone know if they'll be handing out poverty tickets? I "bought" the game by getting the permanent upgrades in their other similar mobile games but it's $45 now instead of $30 and I don't know if I'd want to, especially since there's no real "gameplay" and it'd just be speeding up progression

If you go balls deep before maxing it just prevents you from doing it again for like an hour and a half. It's generally better to go as far as possible with maxed karps then gadge what your new one can do by looking at the now revealed jump power of your opponent.
It's mostly helpful for getting coins quicker to upgrade berrys and shit.

The cooldown for Support Pokemon can be fucked up, so don't mess with them. Time travel 2 hours ahead, so you get max TP, then time travel back, and you will have your TP with 30 minutes cooldown.

Use up your TP, go change the time forward by 2 hours, then open the game to confirm you have gotten 3 TP, go back and change the time to normal, and you're done. You'll be back to present time, and you will have the 3 TP you get.

What's the best way to grind the social media shares achievement?
Apparently it just counts once per thing that you share, including patterns, events and hall of fame entries.
It used to count for sharing battle results as well, but it doesn't anymore. I've capped at 35 shares (been sharing to the SMS app and cancelling out), and haven't managed to get any more. Is there a cap per day or something?

Go to your phone settings and set the time 2 hours forward. Manually, don't just change the time zone.
You can do it multiple times in a row but apparently if you go to the next day it'll fuck something up.
Also using this to repeatedly use helper pokemon might fuck that up.
