Why the fuck is the animation so stilized like that ? It looks fine and everything, but why did they did it on a baseball episode rather than a Pokemon battle ?

Nope, those more stylized scenes were animated by Masaaki Iwane, Isao Nanba and Aito Ohashi, who all are regular animators for the series. I think that style is a reference to the style that some sports animes use.
