Aphrenus; Psychic/Fairy type. Supposed to be a love deity and was supposed to fit in with the plot of the evil team wanting to spread love to the world. I later decided I wanted the legendaries completely separate from the evil team, so as a result it ended up getting scrapped and replaced with a money deity (related to the player's goals instead). I couldn't really find a way to fit Aphrenus at all (balancing issues; long story) so it ended up getting outright scrapped.

Try actually looking up close at a pokémon sprite, so you'll see how they do highlights, shading and lines. Because this is bad.
Also learn how to draw curved lines, it looks like you're drawing with an Etch A Sketch.

The design is dull as dishwater, the pose makes it hard to make out what it factually looks like, the front leg to the left makes absolutely no sense (the only way it would connect to the rest of the body is if it's at least twice as long as the other front leg), it's impossible to tell that it's a sock theme, and the highlights make it look like it's shiny rubber.
Still better than OP, though.

Literally the only thing that's even vaguely sock-like is that the tail has a rounded end, and that's it. Of course nobody is gonna get it.
I have no idea how many years ago I did this, but it seems I have not done anything resembling a real fakemon in a while. Even this is mostly a fusion IIRC

I'd recommend trying something simpler, but if you're dead set on making this work, my advice as far as the design goes would be something like this-
1. Ditch the literal dragoon armor. Settle for something more like a pelt, like the creature is wearing another dragon-like creature's skin on its back.
2. Use a lighter, less saturated tone for its body, to contrast with the deep blue for the "armor." Eevee's own body color would do well.
3. That tail is an abomination. Settle for something more naturalistic, like simply having a flared point on the end of its tail, all the same color as its body.
4. Maybe style Eevee's ears to suggest horns rather than having ears and also horns. It muddies the visual.
5. That body's all fucked up. Again I recommend working from sprites for existing Eeveelutions to get the shape down.

Yeah. It was meant to be a water starter, but I could simply never settle on a design for its final evo. The final evo was supposed to look like it had a frilly dress for a tail, but kept a general butterfly shape to it. It was also based on femme fatale stuff. Pic related is the mid stage. I do like this design as is.
