Tyranitar was originally my first true favorite because of its first appearance in the Celebi movie. Since then I've wanted to get my hands on a Ttar but never could because I unintentionally skipped Gen 2. It wasn't until Gen 4 that I got my very first one via trade from my cousin's copy of Diamond.
Then Gen 5 came around, and now pic related is my favorite Pokemon

Auto Sandstorm, offensive Dark Type, versatile even by pseudo standards. And most importantly, one of the only two out of eight pseudos that isn't a bloody dragon type. Legit groaned when I learned Kommo-o was the only pseudo.
