It'll either be a third version or sequel to Alola (empty building slots, Lillie going to Kanto to heal Lusamine, Gladion taking over the Aether Paradise, the Zygarde foreshadowing by Dexio, etc.), the Kalos third version/sequel we never got (which would tie back into Sun & Moon like ORAS did with X & Y), Kanto reremaked/sequels (because excessive genwun pandering) or Sinnoh remakes (it's their turn next, and the theme of DPPt is literally the same as SM, being alternate universes).

My guess is sequel to Alola. I can't see DPPt remakes happening at all. I can see Kanto remake but maybe something like Yellow remake or so.

Truth be told ever since GF skipped the third version of XY and instead released a new gen we don't know anymore, my best guess is they'll release a third game (a la BW2) which gives the Switch enough time to become more prevalent and then release a new gen there and the inevitable DP remake

I want a new fucking handheld. 3DS is getting old as shit.
