Mighty dissapointed that Salazzle was literally the only thing that even came close to being useful outside of UU.

At least the rest of the pokemon I like are usable in UU which has actually been far better of a meta.

There's a difference between power creeping, and keeping up with the creep they've established. Making gen 7 pokemon slow doesn't make the gen 5 and 6 pokemon any less fast

I'm fine with them making weaker/more balanced mons as long as they become bolder with the nerfs of the old shit as well. It's so boring seeing the same 5 mons on the top of OU usage stats every single gen.

There are 2 glaring flaws in your argument

1 Making most alola mons shit didn't fix the powercreep,it just made them shit.
2 UBs,Ashninja and Tapus powercreeped the hell out of the meta.
