I like it as is personally. In braille that part wouldn't be raised and wouldn't exist at all. Putting the light gray dots gives people a clue what it might be and helps indicate that it's not just messy stray pixels, but it should be near indistinguishable from the white background.

Dark gray is much closer to black and would read much more like the whole thing is just a series of dots until zoomed in on.

First time ever trying something like this. If I did it right, transparent pixels should be ones that are correct. Anything in color is a pixel that needs to be placed.
