My usual philosophy is to increase the bottom number in order to have garunteed winning match ups against certain Pokémon, such as increasing Empoleon'a Aqua Jet to always beat Mew while Manaphy' s on the field.

Another thing to keep in mind is the prevalence of the numbers you're dealing with. There are a lot more 100's than 60's, so it'd be important to be able to potentially threaten opposing 100's with a 101, even at the risk of not investing in any of the other damaging attacks.

Kyogre is unfortunately still not great at 2 mp. Corsola is ultimately a budget Manaphy but to it's credit it can block up a lane for a long fucking time. I wouldn't run more than one Kyogre. The aura break is a liability and he's really fucking sad if Corsola dies.

Also I didn't get to use Long Barrel a lot but those games where I sniped the goalie from mid field for my Aron to waltz in from an entry point was hilarious.

I believe the devs are changing their strategy, they're not going to overwhelm you with two or more new EXs (and other stuff) every two weeks, just for them to cycle out and become irrelevant in the following gym with many people never pulling these figs in time. The devs must have figured customers got less value out of going all out to pull them.

Now it's 3 EXs (and other stuff) that last an entire month, and they tend to benefit from both gyms that month. Virizion/Sceptile/Trevenant were good for both the Water and Grass gym. Cobalion/Terrakion will benefit from both the Rock and now Dark gym. They're using second banner in the same month to buff old figures while still letting you pull the new figs for the month. And there is a lot of garbage figs out there that could use buffs, so they can keep this up this strategy for a while.

They are solid. It is scary attacking them with any figure

Riolu seems pretty easy to evolve and a 2 star aura sphere seems pretty cool.

Right now the biggest two Ex's are probably Mew and Zapdos. Since you already got them then it really comes down to the kind of deck your building but Sceptile is a strong figure that will work anywhere. Deo-a is similar if less reliable. Since you also have a Weavile and a Yevetal, 2 Greninja would be good for a Dark type deck which wouldn't be bad. Especially with the gym coming up you should be able to get a Darkrai or maybe two.

I'm assuming you're using at least one Overdrive plate for Reshiram so you already have a strong attacker, which means Sceptile is not a priority right now.
It doesn't look like your team benefits all that much from Cobalion since firstly it can't reach the Twins if they do Fly ahead on the board, secondly you want as many opportunities to sack Ho-Oh as possible, and thirdly Moltres' Flame Charge is small enough that Gold attacks are almost a non-issue against it. So pretty much the only one that really appreciates Cobalion's presence is Leafeon, which I already suggested to get rid of in favor of Mew. But you need at least one reliable Gold attacker and the small/weak segments on Empoleon/Sceptile/Cobalion aren't gonna cut it.

Hello, I don't usually lurk these places so apologize if I'm doing wrong, but this is the only place I know I can get a decen answer for my questions (without having to register, at least)
For some time, I keep getting matched with a bunch of people that have a team of ho-oh, yveltal, three weavile, umbreon and greninja
My team is objectively pretty shitty, because I didn't make it with the intention of being competitve but rather to have mons I like or I think have cool moves, yet I keep defeating these guys without any effort (I barely get my pokemons knocked out, sometimes I win with just two of them on the field)
What is going on? Is this dark-type based team that weak? Or it's actually strong and somehow I'm better? Why do so many people have it?

Ok wtf, i think i found a new kind of bot or maybe someone already posted about this, too lazy to check the whole thread, it's a pretty weird one, because it's high rating, the first one i found was 2850 and the second 3000, and also their team are diverse but they all are made with the same purpose in the end, making themselves lose by being unable to move their own figures, so here's the story

Darkrai looks like a better Lucario to me: one instakill move that can sleep adjacent pokemon if they spin white (fantastic if they're all turtling in the back), trades blue for Dark Leap for extra optional movement/better match ups, an actual ability, and 70 white makes Mew and Greninja think twice.

Easily the second best gym prize after Gyarados.

Greninja is the only decent dark type in the game until everyone gets their Darkrai. Terrakion and Virizion are two of the best figures in the game and just so happen to be fighting type, because that totally wasn't planned at all. You're basically fucked for this gym unless you have the horses or can make a full on Yveltal buff team viable.

Just had the AI glitch out the game on me when I tried to use it. Started it on the first turn which was mine, loaded it up because I wanted to burn the energy while I went to go take a shower and before I got to that I noticed my timer was frozen and the AI wasn't doing anything. I let it sit to see what developed and nothing. Time didn't pass on my turn and my opponent kept disconnecting and reconnecting in what I imagine was an effort to get shit to happen. Eventually I decided to try to wrest control from the AI but I couldn't even do that. I ended up getting a win out of it because I think my opponent ran out of patience and decided to not reconnect to the duel but does anyone have any idea how this happened or had it happen to them?

Either Oblivion Wing if you want a better chance of surviving Mew or Dark Mist to start threatening high damage figures and if you have multiple Dark types in your deck. Draining Wind can be useful but more often than not, it'll force you to misposition your own figures and give them MP-1

Grass got the MP buff one gym, then the +20 damage buff in the other. Fighting already had its gym with the +1MP buff and currently gets the damage buff.

The current rotation changes next week so I doubt there will be more fighting gyms anytime soon when so many types barely got one gym and others none at all.

Haven't pulled any of the newer EXs. No heatran no black and white dragon twins, no grass types no horse trios no nothing. Every opponent I play against has at least one of them and I got nothing to keep up with the power creep. And to top it off they made it impossible to get new EXs off the daily boosters. This shit is getting rough boys.
