Also really love Cacturne, and lots of stuff in gen 3 and 5 in general. Since doing a mono-Dark type team in Black, Mandibuzz has absolutely gotten into my list of favourites. Scrafty always was a favourite though.

Cradily is rad. my fave is maractus and cacturne (coincidence unrelated to cacti, more likely that my love for maractus has spilled over to cacturne.. but i ship it). Though idk if they're obscure. my fave pokemon is flygon, but he's popular. i do like a lot of them, i guess.. the ones i'm not sick of seeing i have a fondness of, and i try hard not to lose appreciation of my favorite pokemon just because i see them all over the place.>>32578244

Why does Hoenn have so many great pokemon?

Shedinja, Aggron, Milotic, Metagross. Even Shiftry and Ludicolo were pretty cool.

I doubt it. They still wouldn't have any recovery, and Regice and Regirock would still suffer from having shit defensive typings. Without something like Regenerator or a Mega Diancie-tier stat overhaul, I wouldn't expect Mega Regis to see that much more usage than, say, Mega Aggron.

Mega Regigigas, however, would be an unrelenting rape train with any ability that's as good as Klutz or better.

I also love cradily. Back during PBR I played with gimmicks and used a team of uu mon like that for doubles and it became a favorite. It's just adorable. Got to fuck with kids running full legendary sets by stalling. Though it was a bit of effort considering steel. It's partner provided support and status while it slowly sapped hp and wouldn't die.

And fug i can't remember any other favs right now.
