This annoys me the most because they are clearly aware that the flying animations don't look good. Out of all the new pokémon with bird wings in gen VII only Trumbeak flaps its wings. Pikipek, Toucannon and all the Oricorio variations stay on the ground when they're not attacking. And none of them have the retarded gliding in place animation.
