And using it for dizz punch and thunder punch means nothing with its paltry attack when thunder wave and confuse ray exists. As a more general buff, I think bug should be resistant to and super effective against fairy. I'm not a bug fag (if anything, anti-fairy) - I just want the metagame to be more open to underused types.

Also, Tapu Lele REALLY needs a fucking nerf. God, I hate fairy's execution so much.

Bug/Flying is horrendous as a defensive type. It's also pretty bad offensively, but not unsalvageable. Ledian's already got Acrobatics, U-Turn, Focus Punch, Drain Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch and Knock Off to choose from as well as Swords Dance. All it needs to use them is a large base Attack buff to actually hit things and maybe a little extra HP to not be as laughably frail. It's still going to be a below average mon, but its stat distribution is already fucked so it's not really possible to make it usable in any serious competitive environment without giving it some hilariously broken signature move or ability. Also the only support moves worth a damn in its possession are Dual Screens (which almost everything has and aren't that good anyway) and Encore.

My idea is this:

Any turn in which Ledian takes damage while using a punching move allows Ledian to use that punch move again at the end of the turn, but with its special defense used instead of its attack.

MAYBE make it so this ability works even if Ledian is about to faint; since it's gonna faint anyway due to its utter shit typing. That way it'll actually get SOME damage in when it gets OHKO'd by literally everything, and that last ditch attack might be enough to seriously damage or faint the opponent. It'll make people think twice about trying to faint a Ledian; perhaps deciding to setup against it instead.

There. You get a huge damage boost that isn't broken, and only doubles effects/crit instead of quadrupling them.

Also, 4x punch doesn't make sense. Most punching Pokemon have two arms. Since Ledian has four arms, that means it would only hit twice as often, not four times as often.

>Ledian is totally outclassed and cannot merit a slot on any serious team, as Meowstic and Ninjask do everything that Ledian can better defensively and offensively, respectively. It has terrible offensive stats, which nullifies its large offensive movepool, and a shallow support movepool, along with poor defenses and a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock, making it absolutely worthless on any team.
