For them to carry on with UB's they would have to make every story line around the wormholes and UB's from now on which will get utterly boring, it's already boring now and they've only just been introduced.

Now, D/P remakes could add to the UB story since D/P surrounds that theme, perhaps after the main story, they can make it that since Cyrus caused time/space to be strained, it opened up wormholes around Sinnoh, post story involving Looker again (since he was introduced in gen 4) cause let's be honest, GF will most likely recycle S/M's post story since they seem so lazy about the games now.
