Gamefreak is incompetent. Had they just added Flat Rules to the Black Tower / White Tree and treated the areas as the floors in the Batle Pyramid, we would have had one hell of an awesome battle facility. It would also have added so much replayability to them, if you got BP and ribbons for completing all 10 Areas without losing a single time.
