I like all the tapus design wise except Bulu. I want to like him tho. His body is just so differemt from the rest, and his arms come from his head, idk its just weird. Sell me on it! Make me like bulu. So far I like his bell

Does anyone else find it kind of surreal that these guys aren't tiny? I always think of them as very small creatures for some reason but in reality Koko and Bulu are around 6 feet tall and Lele and Fini are around 4 feet tall.

He lives on Ula'ula, right, maybe they're counting bamboo? Plus like that other anon pointed out, Bulu is 6'3" and proportionally wider than most humans, those hooves are probably bigger than they look.

I assume Bulu is "uniquely" shaped because it's more like a wooden carving of a spirit compared to the others.

Did they have to make Lele so blatantly overpowered? The other tapus are good enough but Lele is straight up overkill sometimes

For most legendary trios/quartets there is always an "odd one out" when it comes to balance.

Oh yeah, didn't it say that the shells grew and hardened? Does this mean that the Tapus can be shell-less? What does their shells look like when they're soft? Shell Smash confirmed?
