The first week or so after gen 2 dropped looked almost like when the game launched. But again, everyone just stopped playing. I hope we have other features (PvP, trading, breeding) by the time we get gen 3 so theres actually something to do instead of throwing balls and trying to take down spoofed gyms. I'd ballpark 50-100 revives and 100+ potions depending on which 2k mons you actually have and what the gym looks like, because my prestige squads can mostly do 1:1 trades (with decent dodging) so presumably they'd do the same against an enemy gym.

I don't think so, Pokemon go payers quit playing Pokemon around the third gens release so there's no nostalgia goggles to brink payers back like with gen 2.

If you have an iPhone 6 or earlier, you have bad processing power and the app running both Pokémon go and a gps fakifier will cause issues if you scroll too fast or even just gym too much. Maybe cheating isn't for you.

Hatching eggs is your safest bet, even though it's all just up to chance. Dratini was made uncommon instead of rare in 10k eggs, gyarados is hard to get because you have to farm a very common (in some places) magikarp to 400 candies before you can do anything. Hatch eggs, walk your favorite Pokémon around, you'll have a team of six in no time.

You need "armies" of prestiegers, by that I mean mons of each type with a low CP : high level ratio. Feraligatr has a low CP ceiling but decent water damage, and can prestiege rhydon up pretty far.

That wouldn't happen to anything except Pokémon that suck and are underleveled. CP is a garbage system of ranking a Pokémon based on stats for placing them in gyms, but "better than the other" hardly means dick in this game. A 10/10/10 Vaporeon can kill a rhydon just as fast as a 15/15/15, give or take a second of time.

Plenty of movesets on Garydos that work. Some are Dragon Tail/Crunch (Defensive), Dragon Tail/Hydro Pump (either), or Bite/Hydro Pump (Offensive). I wouldn't recommend Gyarados for prestieging your own gyms though, it's mostly a gym sitter/gym killer.

For 20 or so years now a lot of people have wanted to play pokemon on a mobile device (pokedex) explore the world and play this game, yes? But battling was the key component of those games.

Adding battling to Pokemon Go will add a indefinite long life for the game. If they do this then people will stay and not fall off in waves.

Ask anyone whose played what they want. #1 request is battling.

Imagine a world where with just our Smart Phones, the things we carry every day, we could battle, trade, breed, contest, gyms ect

Tournaments would be so much better. The potential is unlimited, the companies are just lazy and scared.

You can do that by turning fake location off and just not catching or hitting stops/gyms, the game doesn't register your location when you hatch eggs, only the location it was obtained from.

The secret is, have money and time on your hands to afford to spend the day playing the game. Also the smarter thing to do is just check the magikarp and then run, since catching takes longer you can just walk up and down rivers/piers and check the new ones that wash up while hatching eggs and catching other shits first.

If you were to encounter 1,000 magikarp in a row, the likelihood that all of them are not shiny is 89%
If you were to encounter 10,000 magikarp in a row, the chances that you find a shiny is ~70%.
Don't hunt for shinies, the odds are very stacked against you and meant to be seen as a stroke of sheer luck.

I noticed when my egg inventory is full of 2k and I hatch one egg at a time, I'll most likely keep getting 2ks until I empty my inventory. I dunno if the number of eggs/type of eggs in your inventory influences what you get but I'm at 1,630 eggs hatched and that seems to be the case. Same thing with items, the less full my item inventory is the more rare, high item quantity spins I get.
