Korea has the highest tourism from Japan in total while Canada has the highest for the west.
A region based on Yugoslavia.
>>32516969
Spain i think.
>>32516498
Something more northern would be nice and not leave Sinnoh out in the cold alone
We had a tropical and a cold region, I guess the next logical step is a deserted hot region
The Moon
I wanna go to pseudo Mexico as well.

Konikoni City made me want a region based on China, it has some unique animals and areas too
>>32516519
>Next Gen has a fire snake starter(inb4zodiac wars)
>Final evo is a lamia/Medusa
>Continues to fulfill the current quota of having a "cool/nu", "bara", and "feminine" starter trio.

Anything in the past would be interesting. I'd like to actually be in the Pokemon world's past instead of just reading about it. Visiting castles and joining in a siege against Team Arcana or something. Would be great.
Lamia-Mon must happen.

fuck off back to /pol you little faggot
>>32516498
Australia.
It has the most new Poison types introduced in a single generation and the Pokemon professor is based on Steve Irwin.
Australia
So much material to make Pokemon from, as well as new type-combinations like a Ground/Fighting Kangaroo or Poison/anything
>>32518442
plus other islands like New Zealand, Oceania, etc
>>32516498
Southwestern South Korea
>>32516498
Thailand.
It's a beautiful, fascinating and fun country and the statues of the Bangkok palace would make for some awesome legendary group a la the birds/beasts/tapus.

Russia.

Next feminine starter should be the Grass-type though.

>No great britain on the list
huh. thought they liked that place too.
The Nordic Countries (for multiple reasons)
1) Variation. Alola is obviously based on Hawaii and is a warm and tropical region, whereas a region based on Nordic Countries would be in cold climate. Also, if we go back in time a little bit more, Unova and Kalos are both based on large city areas whereas this new region would focus more on nature.
2) Giving Ice-types a chance to shine. A persistent problem with every single region so far has been that Ice-types are stuck near the very end of the game, which is why most players never have an Ice-type Pokemon in their team as they probably already have a full team by the time they encounter their first wild Ice-type Pokemon. A cold region would be the perfect opportunity to scatter Ice-type Pokemon all over the region, even at the very beginning.
3) The Nordic Countries are a perfect inspiration for a Pokemon region. You don't have to come up with anything because these countries already have everything you need for a good, varied region: large forests, lakes, mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, sea, archipelago and so on. This region would pretty much design itself and it would be the perfect playground for exploring in the wilderness.
Just fucking do it GF. Please.

>It has the most new Poison types introduced in a single generation
You mean even more than Kanto's which is already sizeable?
>>32517226
>starters with split evos
yes please
and for anyone saying 'current anime is modern times' ill say 'time travel via *pokemon name*'s powers where ash needs to find a way back to his own time'.

You're right, I forgot about Delphox
Some really obscure place people don't often travel to.

>forest nymph/ dryad pokemon
I'm hyped already
but since fire isn't lamia we still need to think what would pass for fire and water starters. perhaps fire/fairy unicorn? or rather, a fire/dark night-mare.
and about water, how about water/fighting bridge troll?dame ka?
I personally feel like the next region should be a place that's known to be very cold and woodsy as a contrast to Alola, so my votes are Canada, Russia, Alaska, and Scandinavia.
