I was 7 back then and I chose Sceptile as a starter. I didn't train any good fire pokemon before. I just hated how it overpowered my mons in the past. I really love it now though.

I just think it's really cute, but i was pretty indifferent to it at first, thought the "pants" looked stupid.

I didn't really care about the Snivy or Fennekin lines until I used them as partners in PMD. Braixen is still a shit though.

This guy, I used to dislike it when I saw it was on the way to becoming Lucario v2, I didn't like Zoura or his movie and never used one ingame either.
Then in Gen 6 there was a distro with a Zororak with Sludge Bomb to nuke fairies, I tried it out online and let me tell you, there's nothing quite like rusing someone with rusefox, you completely disrupt a person's psyche in one turn.
Now he's my favorite dark type and in my top 5.
Despite it's status as a waifumon and my furfag tendencies, I really only see it as male and would not fug.

Even with the team preview the ability can still be good too. I remember one time I was up against some guy with a stored power swoobat and I managed to set up a few nasty plots while he was calm minding. Turns out stored power was his only attacking move.
