Now everyone keeps telling me I can get it on the N3DS but I`ve been looking online all morning and cant seem to figure out shit other than one guide which tells me I need to go buy a game called cube ninja first, which is so fucking obscure the cheapest price I can find it for is $70 which is some bullshit for some ubisoft shovelware in the first place.

Pretty sure all the entrypoints for 11.4 require a game at the moment, if not Cubic Ninja then Freakyforms or something. You can have CFW on 11.4 for free if you did it before updating, but if you updated first I think you need to wait.

Legit question.

I hacked in December last year, and so far it's been good, though, I have too many games now and don't know what to play, either way, everytime I boot up my 3DS it asks me about a software update.

Is it safe? should I update? since I am fucking tired of seeing that message everytime, anyway to make it go away forever and still being able to play online?

I'd also like a theme of my waifu, is there one already out there or how do you make yours? (I have some custom themes I downloaded in December as well from a site, but I forgot where).

I've hacked it, but mostly to play region free on a Japanese system. There's a lot of perks about it that are great, like being able to backup my saves just in case anything goes wrong, to being able to play GBA games.
Been playing FireRed on it right now, it also seems like a good way to play Emerald considering some people really don't like ORAS.

There's some non-piracy related things that you can't do with only Homebrew. For example, if you play some out-of-region games, you can't play online because the terms of service notification from the other region constantly pops up even if you agree to it. HANS patches+digital games also take up a lot more space than just having a ROMhack cia downloaded onto the system. For physical, there's no real problem with it though.

Eh, I fucked up and kept trying to complete one step while missing a critical file. After several tries I went back, looked over everything to find what I missed, and tried it again and it worked just fine.

Run Luma Updater, then go ahead and update via System Settings. You're already on CFW, they can't really do shit to you. The Homebrew app gets kinda fucked up by the update, but there's an easy way around that.

Still don't have it on my 3DS. Called Nintendo support, and apparently it's out of their hands after I install shit like homebrew, even if I only used it for custom themes. I completely understand, though. I haven't updated Homebrew because getting to the SD card in a new 3DS is dumb, so it ultimately wasn't worth it for me.

At this point, I'm either riding out the rest of the 3DS' lifespan, or waiting until I get another 3DS. Really makes me hope gamefreak makes the jump to the switch.
