Also as much as I love BW1, I'm not fond of the Cheren and Bianca battle themes at all. Lumiose City in XY gets pretty repetitive as well. Fortree City in ORAS is so gloomy it doesn't work at all. Most other music is at least good at worst.

This is the worst trainer battle theme in the series, it starts off perfectly solid, but the entire guitar/piano part from 39: to 1:00 drags on and sounds horrible, it's Smash remix was even worse. Most everything else from XY sounds fine, but when the most common battle theme shits the bed and the Gym leader theme is lackluster, it's hard to remember the whole soundtrack fondly.

GSC Dragon's Den is the obvious winner.

I find myself turning off the volume for the majority of DPPt, when I first played them and on replays. If I were to pick a specific track it would be either the rival battle theme or Cynthia's battle theme.

ORAS's Route 113 remix is horrible as well.
