I want to build a competitive Bug team. Can I get some recommendations?
>>32484912
Araquanid is a must since it's the only Bug that can resist Fire.
>>32484912
volcarona for sure
heracross with scarf since mega isnt out yet
mega pinsir or mega beedrill (whichever one you like more)
scolipede for speed passing shenanigans
and then >>32484924
cant think of any other good bug to have really
>>32484924
Doesn't resist, neutral with fire. Also Crustle is neutral with fire

Look up what Water Bubble does.

Scizor
Pheromosa
Scolipede
Heracross

Support:
Shuckle w/Sticky Web and can Encore to grab momentum
Ribbombee(QuiverPass and can Dual Screen)
Scolipede(SpeedPass)
Armaldo can be good if used effectively
I haven't really done competitive monobug for a while, but I really liked using
Armaldo: stealth rocks/rapid spin were great for hazard control. Bug/rock was very useful against fire/flying attacks. Stone edge and some other attack rounded out the set
Forretress:also had rapid spin and maybe stealth rock. Having rocks up is extremely imporatnt as it takes you the fire/flying pokemon you are weak to. Gyro ball was surprisingly powerful on forretress even with no investment. Volt switch was extremey useful turning forretress into a pivot.
Galvantula:just a nice special attacker that could maybe run sticky web if I was in the mood
Volcarona:a must. The closest you'll have to a special wall. Go all out for special defense then roost off most special attacks.
Mega pinsir:the powerful priority and strong flying damage was too good to pass up, even though I'm considering replacing it with mega scizor
Heracross: probably not very good nowadays, but back in gen 4/5 heracross with a choice scarf was mvp. Too bad fairy and power creep will probably push heracross off of my team nowadays. Probably replace it with araquanid, scizor, or maybe even scolipede for baton pass antics if that's not banned by now. (if you do scolipede baton passing it's probably worth replacing galvantula with buzzwole)

Should also add, maybe I just suck, but i was never a fan of baton pass/u turn. People act like scizor is incredible and you'd be stupid not to use it, but one of it's best assets is uturn. But uturn is mostly useful for switching out to a teammate that can wall/counter/check the pokemon you are uturning away from. In a monotype team that doesn't happen as often as the pokemon coming in (which shares a type) will probably take considerable damage as well.
The only time I can see this being useful is a slow fire type scizor can outspeed having araquanid switch in, in which case uturn wouldn't do much damage.
