It sucks regardless because Go only had Gen 1 mons when it was popular and only gen 1 and 2 now. I remember being at the movies and hearing some kids talking about pokemon and all the names they dropped were Pikachu and the Gen 1 starters. Fuck Go.

I just went to the Pokémon center in Tokyo and it was full of people both kids and adults for the beware and hat Pikachu events, so yeah it is still popular
