Dex nav was nice, the new megas were a good way to add new content and encourage you to use old mons that maybe sucked until then and some of the overworld looked really good.

-Extra scenario stuff was okay, but Sea Mauville has some disturbing lore that shows the Pokemon world isn't all sunshine and rainbows.
-Archie's redesign was cool, even if the part about it not being a scar doesn't make a lick of sense.
-It perfected Roxanne. Visually at least.
-Going to space was awesome, let's do it again without rails.
-Probably the closest thing we'll have to hearing an anime-esque rendition of the Hoenn Gym Theme since the actual anime never reprised that.
-Devon Corp made scuba gear. Needs to come back in games where Dive is used.

Tauros running isn't that inconvenient but being able to just mindlessly press upward on the D-pad was fantastic, and didn't fuck up your stick like XY's Lumiose City Gym path

Being able to catch a shit ton of Legendary Pokemon in a single cartridge like Reshiram, Azelf, Cressellia, etc. Save for a few version exclusives.
