If you don't know much about the peyote cactus it's a spine-less cacti found in northern Mexico that contains a powerful psychedelic called mescaline. Since the plant is found in Mexico I wanted to somewhat emulate mexican native art. Mexican native folklore also uses coyotes as reoccuring characters and since coyote sounds like peyote it makes since to make the pokemon similar to a coyote.
And as I have said before I don't encourage anyone who doesn't know exactly what they are doing to consume any kind of mescal substance.

Here is another drug related pokemon for all you illicit substance enthusiast. There's a couple more on the way, but I'll have to finish them first. I also have a gym ledaer lined up that uses exclusively drug pokemon. I'll just have to re-draw him or something. I can't decide whether I should draw him in Sugimori style or my style.
While I don't encourage the irresponsible use of illegal drugs (or legal for that mantter) I DO encourage people to research them and learn as much as they can about it in order to make educated decisions regarding these substances.
