The window on the right is the data imported into Excel with some display rules to make the cells colored based on the value.

I think the script can use any major image type, though PNG is definitely preferred for color fidelity. Also, transparent pixels are treated as "ignore", so if there's some art tightly-wrapped around the target, it won't get replaced by a white background.

The key difference though is that it can place pixels without me having to tear myself away from what I'm doing. Normally I'd waste some minutes wrapping up a whatever or doing stupid shit like sleeping when I could be placing pixels. The script recoups that lost time.

Yeah, that was part of the motivation. If we aren't using the script to build, we could have it idly running to have some defensive stay.

It only takes one asshole to foil me running one instance of the script, but a script wastes no time and doesn't get bored and give up, so in the long run it could help a lot.

at about 100 seconds per pixel, just the outline is going to take two computers over 15 hours...

Actually, before I turn in for tonight and leave the scripts unattended, I should probably ask something.

The script has two modes to decide what order it fills in pixels. Those modes are "scan line", where it reads from the top left pixel and fills them in order left-to-right and top-to-bottom, and random, where the script generates a list of all the pixels it needs to fill and picks any one of them with no pattern.

Which one is most beneficial in this situation?

That pixel is supposed to be brown according to my reference. You might be mistaking it for (-1227, 372), one pixel down and to the left.

Which is really weird because this is the same image I saved to create the reference I'm using. It must not have resized cleanly.

Found the problem, my reference had a duplicated column of pixels right around that area, making that 2-wide strip of brown pixels appear like they should be 3-wide.

Updated the reference, the bot should start putting pixels in the right place while cleaning up the excess. It'll even put that yellow pixel back for you. :)
