It's not like there is much to do in SM except grinding shinies (old meme) and online battles (better done on Showdown)

Try some challenge runs if you haven't already. Nuzlockes, mono-type runs, mono color runs, solo runs, whatever you can do to make the game more interesting. SM is tougher to do them with just because of the amount of cutscenes and shit you have to slog through(not actual difficulty) though so maybe go for XY/ORAS.

Otherwise, you could try getting into competitive stuff. It's not as tedious to get into as people might have you believe, and once youve got some serviceable mons you can have some fun, especially if you branch out and use uncommon/wacky sets that people aren't prepared for.

How the fuck? There's genuinely no postgame. You can't do anything with the 3ds games, play HG/SS instead or if you want a really fantastic experience outside of the traditional pokemon game, play explorers of sky.
