I took someone's suggestion and named it Verdigris. Funnily enough, this is the thing i'm pairing with Metagross for the Evice fight. Choice Banded drill peck 1shots everything but Slaking before an Intimidate, and 1shots Scizor/Machamp/Salamence after an intimidate. Metagross just spams Brick Break/Shadow ball, depending on the lead.

Guys, help. I plan on breeding a shiny Morelull, so I've been catching wild ones using luxury balls. Problem is, I've caught 7 so far and they all have Illuminate, whereas I want it to have Effect Spore. I'm tired of wasting money on these luxury balls. It's an effort.

Someone needs to get on this asap. The worst would be correcting the stats of more than 350 Pokemon individually.
I've practiced my fair share of genning, but I do think there's no real legality check for transfers in the GCN games so really it'd just be a matter of making them shiny and nothing else. A Digglet knowing Fly wouldn't really stop it from transferring, and a Chansey with the stats of a Shuckle wouldn't make a difference either.

It's just a matter of making their PIDs match shininess and it'd be good to go I think.
But I'm too lazy. If I had a save with all them baked I'd possibly take care of the recording myself and making it look nice on Dolphin.

I'll clone the Tyranitar in emerald, send one of them up just to be 100% safe, and trade one back to Colosseum and grind out the Earth Ribbon for it. After that, i'll work on getting all possible ribbons for it, followed by NEVER playing Colosseum ever again. I'm serious, I have zero desire to come back to this game ever again.

After this, every other SR will look disgustingly simple in comparison. I thought the people going after the legends you need to Soar to was bad, and then I did this.

Update on this, I actually did find someone with a preemptively baked save with all 386 shinies available up to 3rd Gen, and I believe they're all technically legit for the most part, albeit RNG'd, and things like Celebi which are legally unobtainable.

Still, I could use this to make the transfers to GoD through Dolphin, but that sounds like an even bigger bother. The trading process is long, tedious and slow just for a six-member team, let alone for 386. Not to mention I would also need 386 Pokemon in GoD to trade back in the first place.

The trading process with Dolphin-VBA is fiddly as shit, and managing the one save updated throughout all the trades sounds like a nightmare.
I was looking around and there apparently exists a Col/XD save editor that supports importing and exporting GBA Pokemon directly to the .gci save file. That's probably as convenient as it's gonna possibly get.

Now, if only emuparadise's servers weren't made of cardboard and stopped giving me 20kbps download speeds, I could maybe test it soon.

Actually, I was thinking about how I should go about it.
Pictures would be marginally easier to do, but I'd prefer to take it all in video.
What I don't know is if I should just record them in the boxes, you know, just in the summary screen, or go balls to the wall and record them going out into battle, sparkles and all.
The latter would imply editing all the clips together and it would end up having an even nastier filesize, the first would probably just be a continuous recording with a not as nasty filesize. Assuming I go through with it, I'll probably try to up it to YT or something, but it depends on the size it ends up being.
The thing about me, I'm a bit of an insufferable perfectionist. If I'm determined to do this then might as well do it well done. On the other hand, I'm a lazy shit. It's really not a good combination of personality traits.

For Colosseum, Notepad because the counting is so slow. For sane resets, i use Calculator. Enter whatever number your reset is at, then add +1, and then hit Enter every time after to count

Does synchro work given its roamer status, and how its stats are generated on interaction and not on battle?
What's a good nature for Mesprit anyway?
