I was one of those kids who constantly shat on people playing Pokémon and other Japanese games like yu-gi-oh back in elementary, and I didn't start playing and liking Pokémon until I was like 15, with D/P
I still hate all those other Japanese games though, Pokémon is the only one I like

Roommate is a total sperg thats super breeding legit shiny pokemon. We have to share a living room and bathroom. He is fucking disgusting. You can't see the floor of his bedroom because it is covered in dirty clothes he never washes and empty food containers. His "bunk" he calls it reeks of cum and sweat. He misses the toilet when he pisses and sometimes leaves shit and paper in the toilet for hours. If asked to clean or take out trash he spergs out. He comes back from classes, goes right to his bunk and listens to nip music/hunched over a laptop streaming subbed anime all the while on his 3DS. I try to be cordial. If I go to something on campus, I always ask him to join. It's sort of pity but I know he'll always say no. Most of the time he only grunts through his closed door or straight up ignores me. He will stay up until 3am most nights doing his Otaku shit. I politely ask him to use headphones after midnight so I can actually rest without hearing his DESU SUGOI NANI bullshit which he responds by turning the volume up. The one night I had one person over to work peer edit a paper he flipped the fuck out because my classmate laughed at a silly type I had made in my paper. This was around 11:30 pm. He apparently wanted to get a full night sleep or something and that one laugh triggered him. He called the RA on me and pretended to be asleep when the RA came by. I got a warning and a write up because the trash had piled up in our living room. I was sick of being the one to take it out all the time and told him it stayed there until he moved it. RA mentioned "someone" complained about a smell from the dorm. That was the final straw for me.

It took a while for him to leave his 3ds behind while in class but I wonder traded all his prized shiny pokemon away including his precious Shiny Zard and Garde. He was devastated to lose his EPIC EDGE DRAGON and PURE WAIFU.

So, Kevin. Since you frequent this board, fuck you.

I have never gotten a shiny in all the time I have played pokemon, I start playing gen 2 for nostalgia reasons and I get to the dratini cave at the end, trying to get myself one and I get a fucking shiny magikarp.

Then on a different Crystal playthrough, I immediately turned my game off when I encountered a shiny Tentacool because I thought my game was broken or glitched

I have deleted save files in both OR and Sun that hide shinies on them without thinking twice on both occasions.

I did the same thing. I sold my Pearl version when I was 14 and lost all my bros from gens 3-4 that I had on there. I was belatedly going through a second "Pokémon is for little kids" phase and had to get rid of everything Pokémon related. Wasn't even the first time really. I went through a similar phase shortly after beating Crystal in 2001. Didn't hop on the gen 3 bandwagon until well after FRLG were already out.

I uh, trade my friend my Jolteon for his level 100 Fearow. He gave it to me so I could beat the game (because I sucked dick at Pokemon).
After I beat the League I erased my save data, including his Fearow.
Makes me wonder if he released my Jolteon or not.
