Many of us use this fucker in OU.

Wonder Guard now works as a shield. So it prevents damage by all sources (including passive damage), but can be shut down by super effective moves. Once it's down, Shedinja can be damaged by everything. The shield can't be recharged by switching out.
Def and SpD stat is now 1, and 73 points get added to its speed, for a new value of 113. SpA becomes 5, and its attack is now 130.
New Peculiar move

80 BP 100% Acc 5-8PP
If this move K-Os the target, Wonder Guard's shield is actived once again. Makes Contact.

This. Shedinja is fine as is. It isn't banned to OU, but it is still a fine Pokemon there. Just having Shedinja on your team mindfucks your opponent, and makes them play like shit. It makes them overly obsessive about keeping hazards out, makes them cautious with their Shedinja counters, and if hazards are down, it can hardcounter 70% of all setup sweepers, which makes opponents cautious about setting up.

Shedinja can literally win you matches while never never seeing the field.

Yes. It's viability fluctuates wildly by tier as well. Ubers it's almost not a gimmick choice anymore, since it shuts down so much, and hazards are rare.
To wit, Xerneas (Who it also generally indirectly cripples since it wastes Power Herb), Kyogre, many Mewtwo, most Mega-Moms, many Palkia and Dialga, some Genesect, and a handful of others are usually hardwalled by Shedinja.
It also beats Deoxys, 100% of the time if has a Sash, many Greninja, can at least cripple, but sometimes 1v1 Aegislash if played well, can beat lunaala if Shadow Shield is broken, and a few other surprising match-ups go well for Sheddy.
Plus, it works wonders as a pivot (Lugia's Ice Beam will fuck your Zekrom, so switch to Shedinja to eat the beam, then switch to Zekrom to catch the Toxic), and as >>32456504 mentioned, as a tool for making people not risk their 1 pokemon that can actually hit it, force them to switch to their thing that can threaten it and making them predictable, or if they catch you with your pants down with P-Don, they spend the turn setting rocks instead of setting up and sweeping you like they should.

Shedinja is hardcoded to always have 1 HP. Base 1 HP does in fact give you more than 1 HP. Though having 2 HP would help it tremendously, since it doesn't insta die to passive damage anymore.

it probably wouldn't put him in OU, but I think Shedinja should at least be immune to the status conditions that aren't supereffective types

ie, make him immune to hail, poison and leech seed, but not burns and stealth rocks

it just makes no sense that Shedinja can take an ice beam to the face and get killed by a tiny chip of a hailstone

I've been playing him in OU, but I'm not sure what kind of team works best, I've kind of just been fucking around.

I'm most interested in replacing Mandibuzz, I wish Toxapex could learn Rapid Spin so I could put a cleric or something there though.

Any advice is appreciated/ or I'd also like to know what you guys are doing with Shedinja in OU if it's something else.

Stall is such a piece if shit no one actually prepares for it in team building considering there is shit like scarf lele, megagross and the occasional zard X or Koko, the moment you face one it can blows up in your face.

I don't play competitive but I knew that you were a stallfag because of your copy pasted team. I think people hate stall because it is one broken team so seeing it over and over is tiresome. It's the same reason people hate things like Landerous and Lele.

Maybe the solution to stall is more stall so it can be a varied playstyle instead of a boring clone for people with more time than skill and no imagination.

The current issue that's being brought up in current Smogon threads is that these days theres like 6 different types of stall, and that stall is becoming too strong because even when you bring counters to certain variants, they're beaten by other variants of stall.

Yep, from Zapdos to shedninja and Dugtrio+sableye stall is actually quite diverse on their cores, then there is protect Suicune.

I think that the only thing that is consistent enough vs stall is z raindance Manaphy against non shedninja teams and Hoopa-U, CB Rhyperior works its magic against all forms of stall that don't use protect Suicune.
