Blaziken fails to resemble what it's based off of. A cock. If you were to ask anyone what blaziken was based off of they would probably say a chicken. Coupled with the fact that it's probably the closest Gamefreak has ever gotten to a digimon tier design.

As someone who liked both and started on gen 2. I liked gen 3 as it had a slightly different aesthetic, which matched my expectations of a hole new region, yet remained recognizable as pokemon.
Blaziken remains one of my favs starters and I dislike birds. Really turned around that ugly combusken design into something "cool" so I don't see what the issue is.

I recall restarting the game and picking Treecko as soon as I saw Combusken evolving into that nightmare. I never got over it.

Even worse, they kept giving it like Mega to make it viable over Infernape which on equal conditions is always the better one.
