>There are people who didn't choose Bulbasaur
Yeah, and they're the functional ones.

Shhh, let them take the normie lizard or shitter turtle, best starter is reserved for patricians.
>>32455775
What about someone who's chosen all 3 before?
Charizard and Blastoise are superior, I don't want a shitty fucking plant
>There are people who box their starters
Now these are the real assholes we need to discuss

True Pokemon master.

This

Venusaur - Strong RU pokemon
Charizard- Decent NU pokemon
Blastoise - Weak RU pokemon, gonna be NU
and you say charizard and blastoise are """""superior""""
I like charmander but I've come to the conclusion, at least for playing the original rby, I might prefer bulbasaur not for him and ivysaur being cute, but having a "better" team.
There's not too many good looking grass types in game. Venusaur isn't the coolest but at least it has starter status and I can get an attractive fire and water pokemon (arcanine, ninetales, rapidash, gyarados, golduck, starmie, vaporeon, etc) to complement him. If I choose the cooler looking finalstarter mons, I just have to resort to no grass type and no completing my childhood want for always having fire, grass, and water. Or other grass types which are meh or become ugly, or parasect which looks cool but for better or worse is also bug type.
Why did grass have such ugly designs? Gloom and victreebel aren't top picks for me.

OP, we both know those people don't matter.
>Probably because grass is by far the most underrated type.
Bullshit. I don't believe you.
