ITT Pokemon no one ever uses.
>100% male
>>32451790
Did you just assume its gender?
I do, even though he kind of sucks. He's got good coverage, and high enough bulk thst he can tank a hit or two
I like using him to punish late game switch ins, cuz then you can mach punch the leftovers of their hp
>>32451778
I used one in LeafGreen once. It was alright, but I can't think of any way in which Hitmonlee wouldn't have been better.
Basculin. It's a pretty generic fish (that's literally the reason it's even in the game), and if you don't have a Water type for the team by the time you get Surf, most people go for Jellicent instead, if they aren't using the likes of Samurott or Carracosta instead.
Hitmon-chan is my waifu!

Lickilicky
>>32453248
>what is rule 63
lurk more newfag
>>32451778
I used a hitmonlee in an old firered playthrough and just transfered a hitmonchan with drain punch/iron fist to my current game. It's fun to use.

>>32454191
>>32454214
I tried using both of these in hgss and everything was fine until the last two gyms. Now they can't keep up.
>>32454191
He would be better if he could learn Wish via level up.
>>32454214
It's the best bird in gen 1. Gen 2 has Crobat though.
>>32454222
Is that drumpf
>>32454495
Thought the same thing kek
>>32454495
>>32454502
Can't be, the hands are too big.
>>32454445
Dodrio is still better than fearow in gen 1
>>32454374
What? Fearow is perfectly usable throughout the entire game. Base 90 Attack and 100 Speed are both really good for in-game and Silk Scarf boosted STAB Return is very easy to spam in most situations due to its high power and accuracy and good neutral coverage. It also has a good matchup against Koga and Bruno so it's useful even in Pokemon League.
>>32451778
It's my go-to spinner in RU. I think it's RU. The tier Hitmonchan is banned to. Definitely more of a support mon, but his coverage is scary enough that you can force openings to spin, which is surprisingly tough for spinners to manage.
I still use her, after the dreaded nerf to Prankster.
>>32453167
elemental coverage, and higher special defense bulk
but yeah hitmonlee is just a stronger fighting type because quake/edge coverage is stronger than hitmonchan's bolt/beam coverage
Used one with technician in a playthrough of White out of curiosity, Pretty decent with getting first 2 tail slaps boosted.
How does that pokemon reproduce if there no female to give it their offspring?
>inb4ditto
>>32457770
Cinccino is actually one of the best Pokemon to use in BW2 playthroughs because of the one that's guaranteed to have Skill Link in the first hidden grotto.God I miss hidden grottoes.Fuck, why was BW2 so fucking good?
Also, Technician will always boost every hit of Tail Slap. It's still a 25 BP attack whether it's the second hit or the fifth hit.
>>32457791
BW was a cluttered mess to begin with, so why not cram as much shit into it as possible the 2nd time around if that's what you're going for?
>>32454445
Dodrio is the best bird until gen 4 my dude
Onix. I used one once, in gen 2 against falkner, and it was the weakest piece of shit i've ever tried using in any pokemon game. Seriously, why's it suck so bad? I'd have been better off using the Bellsprout i traded away for the Onix against Falkner
>>32457811
>BW was a cluttered mess to begin with
Can you explain further?
>>32457849
Mudslap was meant to show that using direct weakness is not a good idea
>>32457877
Mudslap was just meant to go "hey remember how annoying sand attack was last gen? imagine if it dealt damage now"
Either way that trade Onix is a beginner's trap.
>>32457891
The point is that gym leaders has a counter if you try to bring their weakness into their match. Onix, a rock type, is weak against ground.
>>32457891
Yeah well onix is a lower evolution, of course it sucks.
>>32457898
I still can't get over how it's literally THE worst pokemon you could possibly get to use against that fight in the game. Geodude, Dunsparce, Unown, anything's stronger than Onix.
I mean it's not hard to just walk in with a Pidgey and spam Sand Attack right back, but still, I've never been able to get over just how weak it was.
>>32454530
LOL
>>32457849
Maybe your just really shitty at Pokemon games and your blaming your ignorance on your Pokemon.
>>32457849
That's what you get for being a lazy little shit because holy fuck if your Onix is even remotely close to Pidgeotto's level even with the weakness it's a pathetic attack (20 BPA) coming off 60 base attack against Onix's 160 base defense. It shouldn't be doing a lot of damage.
>>32457954
>>32457957
I was also 7 at the timeand it may have been disobeying. Either way, nobody uses Onix because in every game it's in, you can find a better rock type earlier than itsince basically every rock type is better
>>32457991
I use onix because I really like steelix
>>32458026
Do you skip onix and go for the wild Steelix in Sinnoh?
I'm gonna try to use my shiny Hitmontop competitively soon
>>32458041
Nah, I caught mine in Oreburgh Mine
>>32458026
Onix has better Speed
>>32458049
>Hitmontop
>Never used
Nigga play some doubles before spouting stupid shit like this.
Unless you played Crystal and got a Smoochum out of the Odd Egg, I guarantee you've never used a Jynx
>>32458127
I used it in Silver
>>32458096
Lol, oh well
>>32457849
kek I have an Onix I bred for competitive play and actually just used it earlier tonight vs a friend. I love that thing.for anybody interested,
Careful nature, 252 HP and Sp.Def, Eviolite, Sturdy
Stealth Rock
Dragon Tail
Dragonbreath
EQ
Dragonbreath is for spreading paralysis but I didn't have access to Body Slam
it's fun as fuck
Pic related was my nigga. Gonna train one up. What ball should I use though, Heavy Ball or Lure Ball? Moon Ball? I'm gonna migrate it upward from Soul Silver so I've got options
>>32458423
>pic related
>no pic
I have the downs. Meant to post this.
>>32457754
LeafGreen didn't have the physical/special split, you underage dumbass.
That bolt/beam coverage was basically non-existent.
>>32458430
Heavy ball is boss
>>32454214
Chuggaaconroy used one.
>>32453243
Iron fist needs boost maybe give additional damage if move is SE?
>>32454214
I've used this thing a lot. It's really handy in Gens 1 and 2. Sure, Dodrio is better, but by the time you get it, I can never be bothered to replace it.
>>32458897
>chuggaaconroy
>>>/plebbit/
>>32457754
What part of Leafgreen did you not understand? His ele punches were soft as shit back then - and probably broken on Alakazam.
>>32459493
Was my nig in my B2 playthrough, really helped me get through Skyla and Marlon.
>>32456523
It was NU in gen6
>>32459576
At the end of Gen6, yeah. For most of it though it was in RU.
