This is where Sugimori's style shift becomes quite apparent. Whether a complete change in his shading/coloration techniques, or artist fatigue, the Mega Lati@s are colored (and truthfully, drawn) much more simplistically so it was difficult to find a good color match, especially on Latias.

Something like this?

Since part of the theming of the line is volcanoes, I decided the colors would get more intense as the eruptions got more intense.

Ended up lightening the colors on Cyndaquil a bit, making Quilava's belly a bit more yellow to match earlier appearances, and made Typhlosion much darker/more orange (to contrast nicely with the navy on its back). I can mess with the opacity of the red-orange layer on Typhlosion, so if you wanted a really deep color, I could raise the opacity.

I hope this is kinda what you wanted.
