supply and demand. Because, gf and nintendo shipped the pokewalker alongside hgss they coudn't produce as many copies. Demand is at the very least decent. So to compensate price rises.

I'll reveal my johtoddler bias and say they're fantastic games too which helps with the demand part.

They always remained higher in price than the RSE games.
