Reshiram is based on the Yang, which embodies the Feminine and as such expresses feminine qualities such as a sleeker, more "magic"/mental power rather than a physical, muscular strength like Zekrom.
Lunaala is also given a feminine name and direct counterpart to the masculine Solgaleo, also representing the Moon makes you all but guaranteed to be female largely due to women's bodies having a cycle similar to the cycle of the moon phases.

Lugia is a mom in the anime but >ashnime
Giratina is also a goddess (though that depends on who you ask, and being possibly based partly on Lucifer suggests a masculine presence rather than feminine.)

Legendaris and mythicals don't have genders because they don't reproduce, or reproduce asexually if you really need that headcanon. They don't need genders.

I like to think that legendaries (unless otherwise stated) are basically hermaphrodites that can change their sex whenever they want. I mean Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus are literal deities, so ot is feasible for them. Other legendaries might be able to do it based purely on their status as legendaries. It sounds like tumblr shit, but I like the whole hermaphrodite thing.

I don't think you understand that lore=/=game play, it's called game play segregation. Like in Zelda ya can beat Ganon with a fucking bottle yet in lore that bottle would be atomized on contact with an actual magic attack or in fighting games, ya really think Dan can beat Akuma in a figet?
Dexnav entries are there for a reason, they're there to establish a lore and such around the pokemon itself, we have no reason to belive they aren't true 99% of the time as nothing actually contradicts them outside of game play mechanics but rattan a can alsof beat FUG in game play so not exactly a good case.
