Why?
Sun quite literally has the Popplio line color scheme, it's not just the shoes.
Kukui quite literally has Decidueye's color scheme, and it fits the "Professor side" of him, or the theme of someone "smart/nerdy that also fights".
Hau's ace is Raichu and has a perfect color scheme for it.
Chicken has Litten shoes and hat so I'm leaning towards Incineroar, but it also has the Rowlet color scheme and is the character with a Starter-dedicated clothing in the Primarina headband, so I'm not sure.

Hate is a strong word, one I shouldn't use carelessly. I just like Incineroar the least out of the three.
Cartoony and bland legs and feet, balloon arms, ridiculously tiny wrists, hand much larger than its head, huge fingers and tiny palms.

Based on Kukui's team, Incineroar has horrible synergy, it shares all of its weaknesses with at least one of Kukui's mon, and it doesn't help his huge weakness to fighting types.
Decidueye is alright, it's immune to fighting, but then he gains a new weakness to fire.
Primarina fits perfectly, it deals with fighting types, but then he gets a type overlay with his alolan-nintales.
So basically both Decidueye and Primarina fits him, Prima a little bit more.
Primarina is also always female with him

Alternatively you can not-follow the game's "canon" so both Sun and Chicken exist and they get Popplio and Litten, while Hau doesn't get a starter, since Raichu is clearly meant to be his ace.
