Why? This is supposed to be a gym, not a smogon monotype tournament. That gym would be impossible for most players to beat.
And same thing with the other X-Zard guy - you aren't getting it until your final team, so it's incredibly out of place until then.

i try to follow the evolution level in game rather than having pokemon evolve extremely early. yes that means that many stage one pokemon will be stuck that way till theyre high enough level. i can make the exception if they evolve waaay too late
