These comparisons fail because they always use Pokemon that are clearly going for different things in their designs; Krabby is pretty much just a cartoon crab, while Crabrawler is stylized to resemble a boxer (with its "bruised" eye and closed pincers resembling boxing gloves)

Again, a intentional design choice to give a more distinct look from the original, the Alolan forms are very similar but not "literally the same but recolored", there's many small details here and there.
